About us (Update 2025)

In 2014, Martina and Martin Kosmann founded KK-Scale UG., renamed KK-Scale GmbH in 2024.
 
The goal was to produce 1/18th scale models at affordable prices.
The company was supposed to release 6-8 new classic and modern classic cars annually. This changed dramatically as demand for more new models grew year after year. Now, there are 10-20 new models.
With the exception of the first model, the Audi 100 S Coupé, all models are made of die-cast metal.
 
The KK-Scale 1/18 models have no opening parts, but do have steerable axles with suspension. The convertibles also have partially removable hardtops or softtops.
To date, KK-Scale has been able to offer approximately 140 different molds and a total of over 500 different models in 1:18 scale. In addition, we offer over 50 different accessories such as figures and tire and rim sets.

In 2018, we launched a new line under the Road Kings brand.
Our goal here was to produce classic truck models in 1:18th scale. No manufacturer had ever done this before. All models, except for the trailers (plastic), are made of die-cast metal. In addition to the steerable and sprung axles, the doors also open. To date, we have launched 17 models and over 70 different trucks. These models also include accessories such as figures and tire and rim sets.

In 2018, we launched our first two 1:12th scale models. These models had no opening parts and weren't as attractively priced as we had imagined. So, in 2021, we found a factory who is able to produce 1/12th scale cars with opening parts for a reasonable price and so we decided to produce the first 1:12th scale models, which also feature opening doors and hoods.
We now have 15 different models and almost 100 different models. Accessories such as figures and tire and rim sets are also available.
Our success has proven us right, as the price-performance ratio is currently unbeatable.
 
Currently, over 40 new 1:18th scale molds are in planning and production, and they will be released by mid-2027.
 
Another 20 new 1:12th scale molds will be launched by mid-2027.
 
In the hope of continuing to bring collectors much joy with our models, we are planning several more new models over the next few years.
